Being the founder and managing director of PSY-YACHTING Austria, I have always been an enthusiastic multihull sailor. I bought my first new cruising catamaran at Prout and was impressed by the high quality and seaworthiness of this craft. Some time later my company became dealer and then distributor for this well known British boatyard. I always had a very good personal relationship with Prouts leading heads, Robert Underwood and Bob Dempsey, as well as the whole team.

After Prout Catamarans was sold and Broadblue Catamarans Ltd was formed by Robert Underwood and Mark Elliot, it certainly was a pleasure to be involved as their distributor from the beginning. Again, the high quality of their products, the new modern and competitive designs of their model range and the flexibility in relation to special client wishes made it worthwhile to continue working for numerous clients, including former Prout customers. PSY-Yachting always has, and is, looking to keep Austria’s market for serious cruising catamarans up to date and well informed by offering good and personal sales and after-sales service for our clients.

The combination of running both, yacht charter and yacht sales business has resulted in being a solid basis for bringing new interested clients to multihull sailing, and further developing the line of buying either a second-hand or new catamaran for blue water sailing. Peter Sochor.
