In 1995 Stuart graduated from the world renowned Southampton Institute with a degree in Naval Architecture, specialising in design principles, aero and hydro dynamics.

Stuart joined Prout Catamarans design team and spent six years working on projects ranging from concept design to final production. This included full involvement in the design and production of the entire Prout sailing range from 34ft to 50ft catamarans. Coupled with this, he was also involved with the design of the Prout Panther Power range.

Stuart has capitalised on his extensive skills and experience in designing the new, innovative and award winning Broadblue Catamaran range, which includes the 385, 415, 435 and 500. He is particularly skilled in designing hull form, exterior and interior styling, and engineering schematics. Stuart is also responsible for Broadblue production.
